Our family has been committed to Tulsa Public School and to our neighborhood schools my entire life. I believe that all students in the TPS boundaries deserve to have access to quality education and equal opportunities at every school as their peers. As a Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education member representing District 7, I feel I am personally familiar with the community which the position serves and I have had meaningful experiences with the students, families, teachers, staff and administration within our area schools to best fulfill the role.
My husband, Derek, and I have four children who attend or have graduated from TPS schools. I currently have a 5th grade son at Carnegie, a 10th grade daughter at Booker T Washington High School, a 12th grade son at Memorial Senior High School and a Junior at Oklahoma State University (Memorial c/o 2019). My grandparents were graduates of Webster and Central High Schools and my parents both alumni of Will Rogers High School and still active alumni. My sister and I both attended Eliot Elementary and Edison Middle and High Schools and continue to support Tulsa Public Schools and its amazing community!
